Madison shares: “Katie is not really my mom, but she is basically like a second mom. I have been best friends with her daughter since 3rd grade. She is the best mom anyone could ask for, always bringing laughter and smiles to everyone around her with a sassy twist at times. She has been through a lot this past year with tensions and family issues, but has stuck through it all with amazing resilience and a hug for me when I am not even her kid. She has had a lot of highs and lows recently but has consistently been a light for those around her. Katie is just an amazing mom and I'm so glad to know her and have her as an additional mother figure in my life!”
