Church: Crossroads Church
Lisa Renlund is the Care Pastor at Crossroads Church in Woodbury. A little over 3 years ago I was diagnosed with leukemia.
It was a scary time for me and I didn’t know what to do. One of the first things that came to mind was to request prayers from our church. I sent a message late one evening and the first thing the next morning, I received a call from Lisa. We met in person shortly soon after. Meeting with Lisa was the best thing for me and helped me feel peace during such a difficult time. She immediately told me of a cancer group that is part of our church. I joined and it has been so helpful to be with others that are or have been on a similar journeys, with our faith at the center. I’m still on the cancer rollercoaster journey and Lisa has been there for me every step of the way. I don’t know what I would do without her. It’s difficult to put into words what she has meant to me through this journey. It is remarkable how she’s able to be there for so many of us going through trying times, but she is. She’s very caring, supportive, empathetic and warm hearted. Thank you, Lisa, for all you do <3
