As Ukrainians settle into the rhythms of war, those who are under everyday threat find ways to rebuild the world around them. A soldier returns home for ten days, a chaplain grapples with the weight of responsibility, and a mother grieves the loss of her family while reconstructing her destroyed home. These stores, amidst others. are a testament of Ukraine’s history, perseverance, and plea to be remembered.
READ’s Foreign Projects Coordinator and Executive Director will talk about God’s faithfulness and how we can help make a difference globally. Following the viewing there will be a lobby reception where we will offer opportunities for deeper discussion about current & future READ initiatives and a film Q&A. Rochester native Co-Director Ben Tiede will be on hand to answer questions about the film.
READ Ministries works to empower pastors and leaders in Central Asia and Eastern Europe by helping to provide them with theological, discipleship, and trauma resources in native languages.
