Church: Hosanna

Our Pastor means the world to us. My husband and 3 young Children walked into Hosanna about 2 years ago. I was 8 months pregnant, and my husband had been out of work 7 months due to a surgery. We had a financial crisis that made it hard to sleep at night as we were about to lose our home and not be able to afford food/needed items for the kids. We never imagined how much help we would receive like out of a movie. Our pastor helped us to shop for free at Heart Ministry shop that provided us with new clothing, house items, shoes, bedding and toys for our family. Items that got us by for the next year that we treasured and desperately needed. On top of this, my husband, almost 39, does not drive. I pack the kids up morn and night to take him to work and pick him up. You can imagine its exhausting. After we had our new baby, we couldn’t fit everyone in our vehicle at the same time making it hard to get to church, Dr’s appts or anywhere all together. I got a call out of nowhere one day with Pastor Ray telling me he had a donated vehicle for us to have. This was a Beautiful 7 passenger Dodge Durango. I was speechless. He told me we want your family to be able to get to Church. Theres no words. We look at the vehicle every day and there’s no way to see it without thinking of him each time. On top of this my husband was now able to have a vehicle to get to work which encouraged him to start driving to get his license and has changed my life and hard routine forever. He gives us hugs everything we see him. He’s changed our entire depression moments to glory. We are doing so much better and its not about getting these items, its that he made us feel complete like God’s got us and everything happens for a reason. Life’s hard taking care of yourself but adding children is such a challenge and he showed us that God truly wouldn’t give us more than we can handle. He changed us. He helped us. Forever will we be thankful. Our kids learned and watched all of this. What a miracle. We love our Pastor. If only we could show him how much he means to us. Sometimes thank you just doesn’t feel powerful enough. Thank God for Pastor Ray. The Gomez Family
