Denise shares: “My mom loves me unconditionally. I remember, when I was a teenager yelling at her and she respond in love. She is selfless, thinking of herself last. She is the one who told me about Jesus. She is my Prayer warrior, I know she has fasted in prayer for me. She has been example of a follower of Jesus. She is the first to admit she needs Jesus every step of the way. She humbly trusts Jesus. Also, when growing up, when I was afraid to go to school, she would quote me Isaiah 41:10, so much so I had it memorized at a young age and it still sticks with me today. My mom has much empathy and is very understanding. I know when someone loses a loved one, she feels for them and has meaningful conversations with the person because she knows what is like. When I hurt, she hurts. I moved away and it can get lonely and she prays over the phone each night with me before we go to bed. She loves me much!!”
