Kaitlyn shares: My mom is special for so many reasons. My mom is a natural care taker. In 2013 my mom moved her aunt from CA to MN and took care of her until she united with Jesus in 2019. Then in 2021 she helped move her mom from WI to MN after she fell and broke her hip. Her mom met Jesus the day before Easter this year, she was 11 days shy of turning 101 years old. My mom visited my grandma at least twice a week, sometimes more if my grandma needed something. She is always putting others before herself, I rarely ever see her do something to care for herself. She is a prayer warrior, always praying for her friends, family, and for those she doesn’t know. She attends the women’s Bible study at her church and is a part of the care team there. Growing up I remember her making meals for friends who were going through a difficult time. I am a young adult now, but when I grow up I want to be like my mom. She is thoughtful, considerate, funny, caring, and the most selfless person I know. Thank you mom for showing me what it looks like to live like Christ and for loving everyone around you unconditionally.
