He uses his calm demeanor to put people at ease. He knows what it feels like to walk into a big church and feel overwhelmed, and uses that to welcome everyone to church. You’re welcome NOW – not when you’re (insert your thing here) enough, but right now, right here, this is where you’re meant to be. AND I love how he genuinely and enthusiastically expresses his joy when people are baptized!
