How you can help
Text to donate
The City of Minneapolis and the Minneapolis Foundation have established a text-to-donate line for people to donate money. You can text “ACF1” to 41444. The Minneapolis Foundation is hosting the fund and will work with Annunciation in the coming days to equitably distribute the funds raised to those impacted.
Donate blood
Officials are urging anyone who is able to donate blood to do so. One option is donating blood through Memorial Blood Centers, a nonprofit community-based blood center that works with local hospitals and other organizations. You can also donate through the Red Cross.
Donate goods
Donated goods will first be made available to families of Annunciation School, with any remaining items being given to local community organizations. The donation site is located at Diamond Lake Lutheran Church, 5760 Portland Ave., Minneapolis.
