Alyshia shares: “I wasn’t always a good mom, in fact terrible for a few years. I struggled with mental health, Somehow however, I raised one brave and strong momma. My daughter Mariah is the best mom to her two babies. Luka is 4 and Isla is 2. Last year Luka was diagnosed with Type one diabetes. A few short months later diagnosed with Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma. His little abdomen was full with a large tumor. Mariah has been so strong and brave and diligent. She and her husband Tim educated themselves, pray without ceasing , and trust God completely. After several months and numerous hospital stays, chemo, and radiation treatments, his tumor has shrunk drastically! But he’s still got a lot of treatments through August. When I see her with her babies my heart is so happy. She is doing such an amazing job balancing everything that life is throwing at her right now. I am so beyond proud of her. The strength that she has and the faith that she has is overwhelming to me as her mom. I love her so much and I’m so proud of her. I’m so blessed because of her.”
