Becka L shares: “My heart is happy when I think of Mom. She is amazing and my everything! (God first of course) We have been through a lot together! When I was 1 yrs old Mom had a son named Matthew. Dad left right after he was born and my brother passed away 2 weeks later. I am her only child. It was hard growing up without a dad but Mom made it work. I was a tough kid and she NEVER gave up on me! After high school I moved from Minnesota to Hawaii. I lived there 20 yrs. In that time my mom and I became close and now were best friends! I moved to Texas for yrs and 3 weeks ago hubby and I moved home and Mom is elated. I am like the prodical daughter coming back home. Haha. My mom has NEVER left my side. No matter how hard things got between us, she was still there for me. She believed in me and has been my cheerleader my entire life! Her love for me is astounding even when I have been a butt to her. God has worked on our relationship and it is amazing. I am back in Minnesota to stay! Now its my turn to take care of mom. She is 72 yrs old and was recently mauled by a dog (in February). Praying hard and God is healing the bites. Prayers for her please!! Still, with this big injury she is STILL here for me but now its my turn to dote on her. Love you mama! I could never have asked for a better mom and if I were you when I was younger, I would have given up but you never did!! I am so thankful we have this time together. Praying you get better mama! I love you more! 😭”
