I have been on a spiritual journey back to God since losing my mother 11 years ago. 6 months before she died, she asked me, if I were to die today, would I go to Heaven or Hell? I of course said heaven! With a serious look she said, “Really, and why do you say that?” I gave her the answer that Jesus died on the cross so my sins can be forgiven. This was the beginning and cornerstone of my journey.
That question from my mom stuck with me, and in the back of my mind I would hear, “Start praying,” so I did. I downloaded a free prayer app and started my journey. About 2 years after I started praying, my brother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I amped up my prayers, but he died in January. I was crushed and was questioning all the prayers. Again I heard, “Keep praying.” It was a clearer voice this time, so I leaned into God and kept praying and searching.I was referred to a wonderful man who agreed to give me one-on-one Bible study. As things progressed, I kept hearing “Keep Praying!!” One day we had a breakthrough study. As I got into my car to leave, KTIS Radio was on and the song that was playing was “Don’t Stop Praying.” I had never heard of KTIS before that day. God used KTIS to confirm to me my prayers are being heard. To me it was a confirmation that the Father Son and the Holy Spirit has been working and used KTIS to show they are with me.
