Dana shares: “Oh where do I begin? Three words that come to mind about my momma; caring, loving and gentle. My parents had 4 of us kids, me being the baby (and the favorite of course), haha! On December 19th 2011 my entire family’s world was turned upside down. My mom lost her first born son. My brother was a police officer and was tending to a young girl in a bad situation. He saved the girl from her abusive boyfriend who was trying to kill her. In the midst of the craziness the man shot my brother. He tried so hard to pull through but succumbed to his injuries on December 30 2011. To see my parents go through that heartache broke my heart in half. Since then my mom is always doing things for others before herself. She is the giver. Never asking to receive anything in return.
Mothers are the glue that hold us together and she has done just that! I love you mom!!”
