Kjerstin shares: “She has always put others first. When I got diagnosed with endometriosis while in college, I was in such pain that she worked it out with her job so that she could take me to all the doctors appointments to figure out what was wrong. She would work late just so that I didn't have to go through everything all by myself.
Then a few years ago my step grandfather died and she and my dad didn't want her mother to live by herself so they had my grandmother move in with them. She ended up falling and breaking her leg, so my mom quit her job to take care of my grandmother full time. She travels around an hour or more almost every day just to take my grandmother to all of her appointments. She does everything for everyone else and rarely takes the time for herself.”
