Jennie shares: “I am one of her 8 children. We were just BLESSED this past weekend to GET TO CELEBRATE our mom’s 80th birthday!! Not only did she and my dad have 8 children, but they had 2 sets of twins. We grew up in a VERY LOVING HOME! Our dad passed away in 2017 which was really hard on all of us! My mom met my dad when she was around 14. He was an AMAZING HUSBAND to her! Since then, she has grown even closer to God! The Best thing our mom and dad did for us is to teach us about God and what Faith looks like!!
Our mom continues to walk in Faith and God’s light continues to shine through her! She has 27 grandchildren and 20 Great grandchildren! My mom is there for everyone of us!! She continues to keep All of us in her prayers, helps with whatever she can! That includes, still babysitting great grandchildren when daycare isn’t available, helping clean when a family member moves, baking and cooking to bring something to family gatherings or even having the gatherings at her house. She has had our Christmas gathering at her house every year. That is a lot, as that means having around 65 people in her home. I think she is finally ready to let that tradition go!
My mom is also very involved in her church and is a part of a non-profit that raises money to help various causes. She is an Amazing woman and is setting a Great example for All who are Blessed to know her!”
