Laura’s story

Hello! I was driving into work today and heard you mention that it is Grateful Thursday. I am writing to tell you what I am grateful for today. I work in Human Resources at Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities. This week is Employee Appreciation Week and I just want to say how grateful I am for the employees who have been called to do God’s work. They work hard to help men, women and children who are suffering from homelessness, hunger and addiction. It’s not easy work, but they do it well all in the name of Jesus. I just wanted to give them a shout out today!
