- I am nominating Pastor Troy from Grace Church in EP. I have been going to Grace for 5 years. He has gotten me excited to learn about God and have a passionate heart to follow the LORD. He teaches straight from the bible. He even spent a year teaching out of Revelation! Thank you Pastor Troy!
- Pastor Dobb’s teachings are from the Bible with no departing from them. He challenges us every week to step out in faith and make disciples across the street and around the world!
- Truthful and Expository teachings
- Pastor Dobbs always preaches from the Word. He always speaks the truth from the Word even when it’s not popular. He does not deviate from the Word or add to the Word or take away from the Word. He helps the congregation / attendees understand God’s Word in a way that is impactful and meaningful to our lives to help us be the servants our Lord designed us to be. Thank you Pastor Troy!!
- What I appreciate about my pastor is the way he relates the Bible to us. He makes it very easy to understand and the way he relates it to what’s going on in the world today. I also love the way he will do a whole book until he’s done with it no matter how long it takes. He goes at his own pace and he relates what the Bible was talking about everyday things and I love that about the way he preaches. He doesn’t speak over your head so he relates it to you. He just makes it easy to understand the Bible with the way he’s preaches and I love the way that he is easy going. He’s just easy to talk to. He’s like any other man that you might meet on the street. He doesn’t look down on you or anything and he treats you like someone in his family or one of his best friends that he’s known forever.
- He equips us with biblical teaching to live in a world/culture that is not following Jesus. He shows us how to continue to engage and love other people without compromising our relationship with Christ. He teaches from scripture. Keeps scripture at the center of all. He is a wonderful teacher with great energy as he preaches.
- Pastor Troy does such a great job of speaking the truth and not mining words when he’s teaching us about the Bible. He does not change the teachings of the Bible to accommodate today’s society. He calls it out and draws a line and ask us to do the same, Even if it means losing people along the way. In fact, what he has done has brought more people into his church by speaking the truth, when other churches are not. He, as well as his staff are caring, compassionate, and love the Lord completely. So happy to have found a church that will stand up and speak the truth and the times that we are living in right now. It gives us courage to stand up and speak the truth as well.
- Pastor Troy always preaches the truth, always engages us. He is really authentic, what you see is what you get. He has a huge heart for people, and takes time to listen whether it is in an email, one on one after service, or phone. He has truly been a huge blessing to Grace Church.
- Pastor Troy has been a guiding light for my family during an incredibly difficult time. As a single mother going through a divorce, his wisdom and leadership have been invaluable to both me and my girls. His weekly messages resonate deeply with me and my daughters, and his ability to connect with all ages has made a lasting impact on our lives. What sets Pastor Troy apart is his unwavering commitment to God’s word. In a world where it can be difficult to go against cultural trends, he boldly speaks the truth, even when it’s challenging or unpopular. His dedication to delivering God’s message with honesty and integrity is something I deeply admire. Beyond his sermons, Pastor Troy’s kindness and compassion have shone through. He has gone out of his way to support us, inviting us to join his family for Thanksgiving, taking us to Culver’s with is wife Cheri, coming to our graduation parties, and offering a steady source of encouragement. Praying together after his sermon during our difficult times gave us hope. His influence led me, along with my two oldest daughters, to Christ, and for that, I am eternally grateful. Pastor Troy is a living example of faith, courage, and love, and I am so thankful for the positive role he has played in our lives.
- What I appreciate about my Pastor Troy Dobbs is the way he preaches right from the Bible and he does the whole book no matter how long it takes to do it how many weeks it takes to finish the whole book like Revelations it took almost the whole year we did Revelations last if we ended like back in August now he’s doing the Book of Daniel and we’ve been doing that since we ended revelations back in August I love the way he relates the Bible to what’s going on in the world today and he’s so easy going and easy to talk to he he treats you like yours a friend or a family member he he’s really easy going and I just that’s what I love about Troy Dobbs
- Thank you Troy for being a strong leader for us! You always speak the truth and don’t super coat the messages we receive. I know my faith has grown with your messages of hope and encouragement! Thank you for everything you do for your flock!
- He tells the truth. He is a very nice guy. They have a Barnabas program for special needs children and my granddaughter just loves it. Everyone is so kind to her and it’s a wonderful Church to be a part of. I feel very blessed because pastor Dobbs takes time to talk with you and just seems to always be there whatever the need may be. He is a true man of God and leads his congregation well. Everything he said is bible-based-truth with scripture. He never ever seems to judge you when things are going not so right in your life. One can always talk to him freely. When you’re going through a hard time you pastor always seems to know where to direct you in the Bible which is always helpful
- Pastor Troy thank you. Thank you for preparing your great messages. Thank you for preaching the truth. Thank you for leading Grace Church with your talents, your faithfulness and your wisdom. We thank God for you.
