- He has an earnest desire to reach the community and spread the gospel. He really tries to have a relationship with his congregation. He has a passion for youth and children.
- Pastor Sam is always there when we have questions and if we are confused he always helps us understand things. He’s really awesome and funny.
- Our church has seen a lot of changes in the past few years. One being Pastor Sam and his families arrival! He and his wonderful wife have poured so much into the church in just a short three years. On top of raising a family he is the sole full-time pastor at the church. We have two younger directors part-time on staff he is mentoring as they work toward their pastoral licenses. He has been dedicated to following the Holy Spirit on the steps the church has been called to make within its own walls and within our community. He and his wife have delivered meals, treats, and smiles to many community groups like teachers during conferences, our local police and sheriffs offices, and city council. They are always looking for ways to pour into others. The church building itself has seen the commitment to doing the best work for God too! HOURS of painting, redoing classrooms, repairs, waiting on specialists when the problems need more help that can be offered within our congregants. Making the church building a comfortable home all feel safe and welcome has been top priority. He has said since he did his first sermon for us “Jesus is our Hope, Community is our Passion” and he and his wife live that daily!
- Sam, first of all, loves Jesus. He is an exceptional pastor. He preaches God’s word whenever our church meets. He loves all people. We are an older part of the congregation and we go to Florida in the winter. Sam reaches out to us by phone call or text regularly when we are away to ask how we are doing. He cares for our community in Buffalo by bringing pizza to the schools during conferences. To the police and fire department he will bring ice cream. Every Sunday he prays for a local agency such as our clinic or police and another church that the gospel will go forth and God will be glorified and a missionary by name that they will be used of God. Sam is a very hard working caring pastor and father of 5.
