Jon is an amazing man of God and is stepping out into uncharted territories to glorify God! Jon was my first interaction with Eagle Brook Church at the Blaine campus when I was invited by my son to attend. Jon was kind and very interested in me and my family and I looked forward to talking to him every time I went to church, he is funny and a very caring person! I soon had additional family members coming with me and enjoying the amazing message that spoke directly to our hearts and soul. Two years later myself and 5 members of my family were baptized as a group by Jon and our lives would be changed forever! Our journey to Christ was not easy, but Jon showed us the way and how to be thankful and grateful in the gift that we received and to share our story. This is our life verse; “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere–in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8. This verse also holds true to Eagle Brook Church as their mission is: Empowered by God to Reach Others for Chris. Because when people meet Christ, lives are changed, families are transformed, and communities thrive. If they were to make the biggest impact they would have to go where the need was the most, places that most churches were not willing to go. In 2022 Eagle Brook Church decide to step out and meet the people where the need was and opened up a campus in downtown Minneapolis, MN. Jon was asked to be the Campus Pastor and quickly and without hesitation said yes! The church is flourishing and thriving and making a big difference in the community and lives of hundreds of individuals. Jon continues to offer is love and caring attitude as he has been the marriage counselor for two of my children and most recently married my youngest son. I now serve as a greeter along side Jon to glorify God and do his will in Minneapolis, MN. God bless you Jon!
