Join us for the Paul Elmstrand Memorial 5K Run/Walk! This event, also coinciding with the Bluejacket All School Reunion Day, brings together all who would like to participate in celebrating Paul’s life, legacy, and the impact he had on all who knew him. Paul was serving as a police officer with Burnsville PD on February 18, 2024, when he, along with fellow officer Matthew Ruge, and Firefighter/Paramedic Adam Finseth, tragically lost their lives.
Paul was a 2015 Cambridge-Isanti High School graduate and part of the school’s cross-country team. Family and friends felt a great way to celebrate Paul would be through an event incorporating an activity he enjoyed. Paul was also a 2018 Northwestern University graduate in Criminal Justice and lived a life rooted in faith – we are so grateful to KTIS for helping share this event and its cause with others!
Proceeds from the event will support a scholarship in Paul’s memory started by the Elmstrand family and the Invisible Wounds Project, ensuring that Paul’s legacy continues to live on and help others.
