Brenda shares: “Cheryl is my sister. She has 2 kids and 3 grandkids. She loves all of our family and would do anything for us. She buys items we want for gifts not just anything. She spends time with all of us. She has always gone to all her kids and grand kids activities they were in. She had a surprise 40th and then 60th birthday party and reaches out to all family in other states and friends in Minnesota. When I graduates northwestern college before it was university she had party for me again for my BA and my MA at Bethel she had another party for me. She borrowed me her car when my car was stolen and then found and fixed before I got it back. She helps me and my disabled roommate around our house. I just couldn’t ask for a better sister. We helped each other out when mom died in 1984 and dad died in 2007. I just feel she deserves something special for herself. She never asks for anything from us and states she doesn’t need anything. She gives from her heart. When my other sister was dying of cancer she went to help her out and I couldn’t get time off work to do that and I couldn’t afford to go to Shreveport to help our other sister. I love her. I thank God for her. We are not just sisters we are friends and talk often and have fun together. When I was sad my cat died I cried and stated
I wanted a kitten so she got me one. I want to do something for her, but I don’t have much money or anything to give but my love!”
