Jimmie shares: She isn’t my mom, but my wife. My journey started with her 7 years ago. She has had a very tough time raising 3 children by herself, one of which has autism. She has put herself through school and has worked jobs that I believe are below what she went to school for. All 3 children are now grown and on their own. Her second oldest got married last year. This is only the beginning of the story, however.

In December, 2 days after Christmas, I was at HCMC emergency room. She has been working tirelessly 2 jobs to keep us afloat as we are homeless. She has done so much to take care of me and my needs. She is like a mother. She is so strong and courageous. I really hope you do consider her as a recipient.
